CPCC U13 gain double victory against Kiveton Park

The U13's initially found things tough this evening with Kiveton trapping on at over 4 an over but the brakes where soon hit with Dan taking 4 wickets for just 1 run and Zak AJ bowling back to back maidens with Kivo stumbling to 46 fer 5.
Clumbers response lasted exactly 30 balls knocking the total off for the loss of 1 wicket.
We will have more difficult days at the office that's for sure!

A really good team performance tonight from the U13's... Batting 1st Openers Josh (27) & Callum (26) both retired unbeaten, we then continued with some really good running & forced plenty of extras and in the last over we pushed really hard to end on 103 fer 3! Great team display set by a great opening partnership.
Even at U13s we went out to field with a plan having played Kiveton the previous week. Knowing that Kivo ran at almost every opportunity we knew we had to be on the ball...
1st ball of the reply Zak struck with a good running catch from Josh, ball 2 the Kamikaze running began but brilliant fielding from Dan saw a clean pick up and a direct hit run out! We remained on the ball and picked up another 2 run outs... Other wicket takers ZakAJ Jake & Callum all bowled nicely with ZakAJ unfortunate not to pick up more wickets! Kiveton 63ao
