CPCC U13 Progress in Cup Beating Worksop in Derby Clash

Clumber dominate with bat and ball to progress to next round of cup.
A very strong display eased passed Worksop CC tonight for the U13s winning by a staggering 95 runs...
Clumber lost the toss and where asked to bat first, things didn't start great as we lost an early wicket. A superb partnership between Josh & Zak saw them both retire on 30no with some quality striking of the ball... Zak managed 2 sixes in his 30no! Daniel (20) and Evan 20no continued another great partnership leaving CP on 131 fer 2 off 20 overs! Brilliant batting....
Our defence started in style and ultimately we blew away Worksop batting line up ...
Cal 1 fer 2, Zak 2 fer 1, Jake 2 fer 1, Tom 1 fer 1, Tom 1 fer 11 & Evan 2 fer 0 to finish the game off in 2 balls! Worksop CC all out for 36! Tougher games will face you but not a bad start to the defence off the cup! UTP
