Clumber Park 1st XI Gain Maximum Ponts Against Killamarsh

The 1sts continued with their winning ways on Saturday with a comprehensive win over killamarsh! I managed to lose the toss and unsurprisingly we were asked to field! Killamarsh made a reasonable start and were about 65-1 at the first drinks break! All the bowlers bowled superbly in the heat and a special mention goes to Leigh Overton for bowling 13 overs straight through picking up 2 wickets in the process! James Hubball picked up 5 wickets with his Wiley spin and Alex AJ Jervis bowled tightly and got a deserved 2 wickets! Killamarsh bowled out for 153! I always felt that was very chasable and Hubball (54no) and myself (57) got us off to the perfect start putting on 122 for the first wicket! Killamarsh picked up a couple of wickets but we won the game by 8 wickets with 7 overs to spare! Well done to everyone involved!
