Are you aware of a hidden gem within Clumber Park? Well this is The Park Inn Club. Originally, our building was Hardwick Post Office from around 1904, but after approx 60 years of trading this was closed. Some 20 years later a group of National Trust employees and residents approached the Trust to turn the former Post Office into a private members club for the use of the employees and residents of the park. The National Trust very kindly agreed to this proposal and over the years members and volunteers have kept this unique little gem open. Some people remember the club as The Clumber Park Social Club we do still trade as this but in recent years have changed our name to The Park Inn Club. The word ‘Club’ is still added because we are still a private members club but that does not mean you are not welcome. A guest book is always available for you to sign and so we would like you to come and appreciate our unique venue. Many thanks for taking your time to read this. The committee and myself look forward to seeing you in the future. Ian Batty
